Zero-Downtime Migration: Operating S/4HANA for 24/7 Global Manufacturing Plants

Maintaining 24/7 Production Continuity During S/4HANA Cutover
For continuous manufacturing facilities, planned maintenance windows exceeding four hours are financially and operationally unacceptable. A traditional weekend cutover is simply off the table.
To achieve near-zero downtime migration, VASPP employs change-data-capture (CDC) pipelines combined with shadow-routing between the shop-floor MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and SAP S/4HANA.
During the live cutover window, production lines continue recording movements and confirmations into buffered local gateways, which subsequently replay and reconcile transactions once target systems reach steady state.
